Le pregunté a mi amiga Catalina, que viene de Colombia y estudia trabajo social en Alemania, por sus consejos y se mostró muy curiosa de saber por qué. ¿Por qué ella? ¿Por qué esas preguntas? ¿Cuál es el tema? Entonces le dije que la idea de "Dame un consejo" es obtener la reacción inmediata de la gente sin ofrecerles demasiado contexto. De esta manera, intuitivamente buscarán dentro de sí aquel consejo que consideren más valioso y así podría crear un espacio donde la gente pudiera obtener buenos consejos cuando los necesitaran. Entonces, convencida de que no le estaba vendiendo su alma al diablo, me ofreció sus respuestas:

1. El mejor consejo que me dieron es: "la vida te pone espejos siempre, en las personas que te rodean, así que tenlos presente para que no caigas en lo mismo y no cometas los mismos errores que ellos."
   
   

2. Mi mejor consejo es: "eres fuerte así que puedes volar tan alto como quieras. Levántate y sigue la batalla, porque la guerra sólo se termina el día en que fallezcas."

I asked my friend Catalina, who's Colombian and studies Social Work in Germany, about her advice and she was very curious to understand why. Why her? Why those questions? What's the theme? So I told her that the idea behind "Word of Advice" was to obtain the immediate reaction of people without providing them with a lot of context. This way, they would intuitively search within themselves the advice that they consider to be most valuable and thus we can create a space where people could find advice when they need it. Then, convinced she was not selling her soul to the devil, she answered:

1. The best advice that I received is: "life always puts mirrors before you, in people that surround you; pay attention to them, so you don't fall on the same path or make the same mistakes." 
   
   

2. My best advice is: "you are strong, so you can fly as high as you want. Stand up and continue the battle, because the war is only over when you depart."

La primera en responder a mis preguntas fue mi amiga María Fernanda. Ella viene de Colombia y vive en Alemania. Estudió Marketing y está por comenzar una maestría en Management. Sin dudarlo un instante, respondió: 

1. El mejor consejo que me han dado: "sobre todas las cosas, nunca olvides quién eres. No olvides lo que Dios ha hecho en tu vida y hasta dónde te ha llevado." 
   
   

2. Mi mejor consejo es: "no creas que tu sueño es el más imposible; no lo dejes ir por que si lo dejas ir, ya no valdría la pena vivir. Todo es posible mientras respires y tengas fe en Dios."

The first one to respond to my questions was my friend María Fernanda. She's from Colombia and lives in Germany. She studied Marketing and is about to start her masters in Management. Without hesitation, she answered: 

1. The best advice that I've ever received: "above all things, never forget who you are. Never forget what God has done in your life and where he has brought you." 
   
   

2. My best advice is: "don't believe that yours is the most impossible dream; don't let it go, because if you do so, life would make no sense. Everything is possible as long as you breathe and have faith in God."
