Word of Advice #3

I asked my friend Catalina, who's Colombian and studies Social Work in Germany, about her advice and she was very curious to understand why. Why her? Why those questions? What's the theme? So I told her that the idea behind "Word of Advice" was to obtain the immediate reaction of people without providing them with a lot of context. This way, they would intuitively search within themselves the advice that they consider to be most valuable and thus we can create a space where people could find advice when they need it. Then, convinced she was not selling her soul to the devil, she answered:

1. The best advice that I received is: "life always puts mirrors before you, in people that surround you; pay attention to them, so you don't fall on the same path or make the same mistakes." 
   
   

2. My best advice is: "you are strong, so you can fly as high as you want. Stand up and continue the battle, because the war is only over when you depart."

Ich habe die Idee bekommen Menschen zwei einfache Fragen zu stellen:

1.        Welcher ist der beste Rat, den du bekommen hast?

2.        Welcher ist der beste Rat, den du geben würdest?

Die Idee ist zu sehen, was die Menschen motiviert und durch ihre Räte wissen, wie sie ihr Leben führen.   Es ist auch die Idee einen Raum zu erschaffen, wo wir selbst an unsere Ziele und unsere Lebensphilosophie erinnern können. Falls uns die Motivation fällt, auch unsere Kraft wieder zu finden.

Da es der este Post ist, der "Rat geben" von heute ist persönlich.

1.      Der beste Rat, den ich bekommen habe war von meiner Mutter. Einmal hat sie mir gesagt: "Hab nie Angst vor Fragen Stellen, da nicht zu fragen wäre genauso wie bereits ein nein als Antwort bekommen zu haben. Wenn du fragst, du könntest ein ja hören. Und wenn sie nein sagen, das hast du mindestens die Erfahrung gefragt zu haben."

2.      Mein bester Rat ist: "folge deine Intuition, da sie immer Recht hat". Intuition ist die Stimme Gottes, deiner spirituellen Führer (oder egalwelche deine Glauben sind), die dich zu die Wahrheit deiner Identität und ein erfülltes Leben führt. Wenn du fühlst, dass deine Intuition zuzuhören auf keinen guten Weg dich richtet, dann du hörst nicht genau zu oder du verstehst die Botschaft nicht. Mach deine Ohren und deine Augen zu der Gnade Gottes.

Word of Advice #1

I had the idea of asking people two simple questions:

1.        Which is the best advice someone's ever given you?

2.        What's the best advice you would give?

The idea is to see what motivates people and, through their advice, know what leads their lives. Also, the idea is to create a space where we can remind ourselves of our goals, our life philosophy and, in case we are lacking motivation, read somebody else's advice and regain our strength.

Being the first one, the "Word of Advice" of the day, is a personal one.

1.      The best advice I recieved was from my mother. She told me one day: "Never be afraid to ask, because not doing so would be as already having recieved a no for an answer. If you ask, you may hear a yes. And if they say no, at least you have the experience of having asked."

2.      My best advice is: "always follow your intuition, because it's never wrong." Intuition is God's voice, your spiritual guides', or whatever your belief is, guiding you the your identity's truth and to a full life. If you feel like listening to your intuition doesn't guide you to anything good, then you are not listening closely enough or you are not understanding the message. Open your ears and eyes to the grace of God.
